Preparing Students for Leadership, Purpose and Future Pathways

An environment built on academic abilities, personal chacter, and future aspirations.
At the Australian Islamic College of Sydney (AICS), Secondary Education supports students from Years 7 to 12 through one of the most important stages of their educational journey. During these formative years, students deepen their academic abilities, strengthen their personal character, and begin to explore their future aspirations.

Our Secondary School provides a dynamic learning environment where students from Years 7 to 12 experience a rich curriculum designed to build foundational skills, deepen critical thinking and prepare them for pathways beyond school.

The educational program is structured around:
High academic standards and syllabus-aligned teaching programs
Strong literacy and numeracy foundations
A culture of ongoing professional development for teachers
Systematic evaluation of teaching programs and assessments
Programs that build resilience, wellbeing, and leadership
Pathways for extension, acceleration, and support

Students learn within a fortnightly timetable (Week A/B) of six 50-minute periods per day, with additional Senior Sessions for Stage 6 that offer careers advice, study skills, wellbeing workshops, and university-aligned preparation.
