The Junior School at AICS caters for student from Kindergarten to Year 4 and provides students with the essential academic and social foundations for schooling. Set within the Islamic context, the Junior School gives students the opportunity to engage with and develop their faith in a nurturing and supportive environment. All students participate in morning prayers to start their day and students in Years 3 & 4 congregate daily for the midday prayer. These efforts are supported by Arabic Language, Islamic Studies and Quran.
Students in each year group also participate in an engaging and interactive program that follows the NSW Syllabus in the Key Learning Areas of English, Mathematics, HSIE, Science and Technology and Creative Arts. Complementing the academic subjects, there are many opportunities for students to engage in additional activities and events throughout the year to develop their social and emotional skills as well as participate as a member in the school community.
