NAPLAN Online Readiness 2022

Australian Islamic College of Sydney has recently completed the readiness test for NAPLAN online for the Academic Year 2022. The online test for 255 Primary School students (years 3 and 5) and 186 High School students (years 7 and 9) was spread out over 4 days and various sessions. The entire test was conducted successfully and independently without affecting the regular classroom teachings. Alhamdo lillah, AICS is now ready to take the entire NAPLAN test online as required by the Department of Education.

Students gained valuable experience in understanding the format and procedures of the test itself and how to use the laptops and accessories. Any difficulty faced by the students were attended to by the teachers & ICT staff and appropriately helped and advised the students to prepare them for upcoming real NAPLAN test in May, 2022. As a result, students have become familiar with the settings and confident with the NAPLAN test itself.

Thanks are due to the dedicated teachers for their various contributions in organizing the entire NAPLAN test sessions and scheduling them in a very professional manner. Also the ICT staff prepared new laptops, network devices and arranging a complete walk-in walk-out services. A big thank you to all students who helped out the ICT staff with moving laptops. All in all it was a great joyous team work with wonderful results.
