Lecture on the life of the Holy Prophet ﷺ
Dr Mufti Yasir Nadeem (Director Darul uloom online and Shaykul Hadith USA) delivered a short lecture on the life of our Holy Prophet ﷺ for the benefit of the High School students of AICS on Wednesday 6th December 2017 in Rooty Hill Masjid. After praising Allah and sending salawat on the Holy Prophet ﷺ , he touched upon some aspects of the Holy Prophet’s ﷺ life and left the students with five easy tips to practice in their lives:
- Honouring and respecting one’s parents
- Become a loving and caring neighbor
- Visiting the sick
- Help those who are poor and in need
- Silatul Rahim or maintaining the kinship
Dr. Nadeem exhorted the students to practice these five things in whatever capacity they can and become good Muslims and responsible citizens of Australia.
After the lecture students asked some questions relevant to issues they face in real life and was answered capably by Dr. Nadeem. The lecture was concluded with duaas or supplications.
