It is about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone. It is a day for all Australians to embrace cultural diversity and to share what we have in common. At AICS various activities promoting harmony were integrated and conducted in classes across all KLAs .To reflect on these activities and to celebrate harmony, a special assembly was conducted on 23rd April in college hall. Guest speakers included Mr Heather Fagan (representative ISRA), Mr Chris Tobin (indigenous representative) along with Dr Tariq (HOD Arabic, Islamic Studies and Quran) and Dr Imam Ali (Principal of the college). The central message for Harmony Day ‘everyone belongs’, reinforcing the importance of inclusiveness to all Australians was very well represented by our talented SRC in their colourful presentation of cultural outfits representing various cultures of the world. Harmony Day was a community celebration in its true sense
